Happy Halloween

After 2 hours and several costume changes Olivia finally picked the one she wanted to wear. After trick or treating at 3 houses she sat down on the curb and said, "I done mama.". Unfortunately for her mom and dad needed more than 3 pieces of candy so I made her keep going!! She was happy later when she got to eat way more candy than any big or little person should. I can't believe next year I'll be taking 2 little monsters around.

2 years!

We can't believe our crazy, sweet, beautiful Olivia is 2 years old today. It doesn't feel like we've had her that long. We love watching her grow and learn everyday. Life must have been really boring without her, or really relaxing. She loves animals lately so we are taking her to the state fair tomorrow. Stay tuned for more birthday fun.

21 weeks

I am finally 21 weeks!!!! Which means over half way done. We found out on Monday, which was also Jason's birthday, that we are having baby girl #2 and could not be happier. Now that I am finally feeling better I hope to be blogging more. The truth is when its between taking a nap with Olivia or blogging the nap usually wins. Here is a brief recap of the past few months. I was sick sick from 8-16 weeks. At 13 weeks I started bleeding and Jason and I got to spend our Saturday in the ER. The baby was fine and no one could explain the bleeding. At 16 weeks Jason was out of town and I was with my family at my parents when the nerve that goes over my pelvic bone decide it hated me and I got to spend another day in the ER, with my mom this time. My dad and my brother Scott were able to diagnose my problem so I could get the right help in the ER which was a life saver. Basically I have a bit of nerve damage from my darling Olivia being so comfortable at the end of her pregnancy and camping out right on the nerve. I've been through labor and this was way worse! We now know how to manage the pain if it comes back but for now I will count my blessings that I've been pain free for over a month. The worry is that as the baby gets bigger it will come back, but I would much rather have me with the problem and have a healthy little one. Now its just a long wait until the end of December.

10 weeks and I'm still alive.

For all of those who don't already know we are expecting baby #2. Its been a long 10 weeks and I can only pray this sickness ends soon. The official due date is Jan. 3rd. with the option of being induced up to a week early. Feeling like I do now that doesn't sound so bad, but we'll have to see when it gets closer. I would have posted the ultrasound picture but he/she just looks like a blob. The dr. gave me the worst picture ever so this about where the baby is now.

Flip flops

For easter we went to one of Jason's cousin's houses for their annual easter egg hunt. Each family was in charge of bringing eggs filled with toys or candy. They had a treasure hunt for the older kid and a regular egg hunt for the younger ones. Even though it was wet and cold it was still a lot of fun. Olivia wasn't too sure about it at first but really got into it later. She loves to open the eggs and yell surprise.

California: round 2

Here a some highlight pictures of our second trip to California. We were so lucky to see Rylee and Kenzie in the school play Beauty and the Beast. Kenzie was the cutest little lamb ever and Rylee was a fluffy pillow cat. I have no pictures cause they wouldn't let us take them during the play, but trust me it was amazing. I went to one of Blakes baseball games and would have taken more pictures had my hands not been frozen. For those who think Cali is always warm its not true!!! We went to Newport with Kim and Piper to see Rogers Gardens and of course we went to Fashion Island for a bite to eat. Sunday afternoon we went to the beach since it was the warmest day. Olivia loved to feel the sand with her feet. It was a great trip and too short as always.

I'm back. Sort of.....

I realize its been forever since I last updated and I will slowly be playing catch up. We went to California for Aunt Cindy's funeral. We were home for just over a week and Olivia and I went back for a fun trip. During the week we were home Olivia had the flu and got a sinus infection when we got home the second time. No fun! So here are some pictures of the first trip and the flu week.

2 heart beats but one is yours.

My sister in-law Brenda is pregnant and due at the end of July. Due to insurance she had to change doctors last week and had her first appointment with the new one. For some reason he decided to do an ultra sound. Good thing he did because somehow the tech that gave her her first ultra sound missed the fact that she is having twins!!!!! I believe she told Brenda there were 2 heart beats but one was hers. We can't wait to snuggle 2 new babies this summer.

Heaven received a new angel today. My aunt Cindy passed away this morning. She was a wonderful friend, daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and wife. We were lucky to have her as long as we did and will miss her.
