No matter how hard I try to keep Olivia from growing up she still thinks she needs to. She turned 3 in September and decided she wanted to have a princess party. All of her girl friends dressed up for the occasion. The boys did not. Big surprise. She wanted a princess cake so I started looking around for one because I am not skilled in making cakes. The cheapest one I could find was at least $20. I decided I would rather make the cake myself and spend the $20 on her. Plus it was for a bunch of 3 year olds. They don't care what it looks like as long as it has lots of frosting, and boy did it!! We played games, had a little lunch, opened presents, but the best part was making Rosie and Brittany dress up and do make-up and face painting! Congrats to Rosie for still fitting into her old prom dress!! All in all it was a great day, even if Olivia did get a little older.

Olivia is a doll. Wow, I can't believe that she is now three. Where has the time gone? Your family is adorable. I think you did pretty good on the cake! :)
how cute I love it you did a good job and the cake looks great and it looks like it has a lot of frosting and that is all I really want to.
Nothing better than princesses! Olivia is so beautiful. 3 wow!
Yes, that's right! I can still fit into my senior prom dress!!
What a fun age. I remember the princess parties! Good job on the cake. You are far better than me. I succumbed to the $20 store one!
She is a pretty princess. Kat had a prince and princess party at age 5. It was so cute:)
