Maiden voyage

Jason's parents bought a chunk of land this past fall in Spanish Fork canyon. They also bought a trailer so we have somewhere to stay when got up there. We took it to Moab for its maiden voyage so Shane and Brenda could run a 5 mile race. Even though it was freezing and someone (you know who you are) kept turning the heat down and having 12 people in one trailer it was a blast. All 3 babies did great and I'm pretty sure Olivia wants to live in the trailer now. Here are a few highlights.

Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time, Olivia got her first black eye when she got hit with Chase's golf club. He felt so bad he cried more than she did.

Blessing day and update.

This is only a month late, but hey better late then never right. We blessed Mya on march 7th. She looked beautiful and was so sweet not to cry during it. We are so lucky to have her in our family. She also had he 2 month check-up and is doing great. She weighed exactly 12 lbs. Olivia weighed 12.3 lbs at 2 months. Mya was 23 inches long and olivia was 22 3/4. I can't believe how similar they are. In other news Olivia is potty trained and doing great. We have only had a few accidents in the last month and they are usually because mom isn't fast enough getting her to the potty. We are so proud of her and so happy for us because we don't have to change he diaper any more!!! Enjoy the pictures and I promise to update more often.

Quick update

If you can believe it Mya will be 8 weeks old on monday. How did that happen?! She is growing like a weed and we are loving her more everyday. Olivia loves being a big sister and can't wait until she can show Mya how to walk. As you can see in the picture below she loves to share with Mya. she let her hold baby orange while I was in the shower so she wouldn't be sad. If you look real close you will also see she gave her some alcohol packs to sit with. When I picked her up I found about 20 more underneath her. But it worked and I enjoyed a long hot shower!

Happy Halloween

After 2 hours and several costume changes Olivia finally picked the one she wanted to wear. After trick or treating at 3 houses she sat down on the curb and said, "I done mama.". Unfortunately for her mom and dad needed more than 3 pieces of candy so I made her keep going!! She was happy later when she got to eat way more candy than any big or little person should. I can't believe next year I'll be taking 2 little monsters around.

2 years!

We can't believe our crazy, sweet, beautiful Olivia is 2 years old today. It doesn't feel like we've had her that long. We love watching her grow and learn everyday. Life must have been really boring without her, or really relaxing. She loves animals lately so we are taking her to the state fair tomorrow. Stay tuned for more birthday fun.

21 weeks

I am finally 21 weeks!!!! Which means over half way done. We found out on Monday, which was also Jason's birthday, that we are having baby girl #2 and could not be happier. Now that I am finally feeling better I hope to be blogging more. The truth is when its between taking a nap with Olivia or blogging the nap usually wins. Here is a brief recap of the past few months. I was sick sick from 8-16 weeks. At 13 weeks I started bleeding and Jason and I got to spend our Saturday in the ER. The baby was fine and no one could explain the bleeding. At 16 weeks Jason was out of town and I was with my family at my parents when the nerve that goes over my pelvic bone decide it hated me and I got to spend another day in the ER, with my mom this time. My dad and my brother Scott were able to diagnose my problem so I could get the right help in the ER which was a life saver. Basically I have a bit of nerve damage from my darling Olivia being so comfortable at the end of her pregnancy and camping out right on the nerve. I've been through labor and this was way worse! We now know how to manage the pain if it comes back but for now I will count my blessings that I've been pain free for over a month. The worry is that as the baby gets bigger it will come back, but I would much rather have me with the problem and have a healthy little one. Now its just a long wait until the end of December.
