mya is going to joyschool this year with our cute neighbor lily. its just the 2 of them but they love every minute of it!

olivia started preschool this year. she love ms. liza and loves all the friends she goes to school with! i think half the class lives in our neighborhood.

i get to spend a lot of time with the cutest boy on the planet!

the fourth of july was a little different this year for our neighborhood. 2 days before there was a big fire over in alpine, which was a little too close for comfort. because we live on the mountain the city of cedar hills said no fireworks of any kind in our neighborhood. instead we had a block party for most of the evening and into the night. lots of food, friends, a bounce house, basketball, and a late night outdoor movie. we had a great time and hope we do it again next year! my cute friend down the street, caitlin, took a ton of pictures and was nice enough to pass some along so here they are. our beautiful little mya.

yes, i look like some sort of weird insect in this picture. it was still fun showing all the neighbor kids how awesome i am at basketball!

olivia played soccer for the first time this spring. turns out shes a natural! she had 6 games and scored 5 goals. we loved watching her get out of her shell and having fun doing something new. she loved it so much she starts again this fall. she does have shorts on i promise.

our little man is growing up was too fast. he will be 4 months old on the 1st which is really not okay. he is the sweetest, easiest, happiest baby a mom could could ask for. on average he gives me about 7 hours of sleep each night. he loves to snuggle. he sits in his swing while i get things done around the house. he puts up with his sisters being in his face and holding him any chance they get. basically hes the perfect baby and hes all ours! heres a few pictures so you can see for yourself how cute he is! his first broncos outfit. it was jasons as a baby, there will be several in his life i'm sure. this little guy has a smile that will melt your heart. he doesn't even make you work for it, all you have to do is look at him and he can't help but show it to you. he loves his big sisters, most of the time

one of mya's favorite things is too color all over her arms this is washable marker after its been washed. uggg. good thing shes cute. she also has a problem with using too much toilet paper to wipe her nose then flushing it which makes the toilet sad. i heard her in the bathroom and yelled at her not to put it in the toilet she said she didn't. our little mya keeps us on our toes and we love her for it!

so here is the short version of griffin's birth. since i was induced i had to wait for the hospital to tell me what time i could come in. they called wednesday night and said to be there at 5:30 am. this sounded great to me! at 11pm as i'm just about to go to sleep they call and push the time back to 10am. this makes me very mad and of course now i can't sleep. we get to the hospital and they start the IV. finally at noon they start the pitocin, i get my epidural, and they break my water. i let them know that things move pretty fast when i reach 4cm. finally at about 5pm i'm a 4. they get the room all set up at about 5:20 she checks me and i'm a 10. she calls the dr., not knowing he left the hospital, he says he'll be there in 5 minutes. she looks at the other nurses and they all try not to look freaked out. rosie got to the hospital around 4:30 and was planning on leaving the room during the birth. she is now stuck in the corner and can't get out. the dr. comes in, i push thru 2 contractions and griffin is born march 1st 2012 at 5:33 pm. he weighed 6 pounds 5 ounces and was 18.5 inches long and perfect. rosie survived being in the room and didn't see anything to disturbing. she said," wow, i'm impressed you didn't scream or cry or anything." i explained thats why you should always get the drugs so you can actually enjoy the birth!!! so thats the story of little griffin being born. nice and boring just the way we like it. here are a few pictures of our new little man.

all of my friends that have little boys told me i would fall in love with this little guy as soon as i saw him. with a face like his how could i not!!

Griffin William Harr

well hes finally here! we could not be more in love with this little guy. more details to come but i thought i better post a picture or 2.

2 weeks and 2 days

hair cut and highlighted, had the best baby shower, griffin's room done, car seat ready to go, gave my last sharing time for awhile, having my last cold now so i'm not sick when he gets here, hospital bag almost packed. the countdown is on. griffin will be here on march 1st whether he likes it or not. i scheduled my induction yesterday. if he decides to come earlier on his own i would love love love it! he just isn't allowed to come from sunday the 19th- wednesday the 22nd cause his daddy will be out of town with work.

december is one of those months that is crazy busy and before you know it its over. besides christmas we also get to celebrate mya's birthday and our anniversary. they happen to be on the same day so in order to space things out a bit jason and i celebrated earlier in the month. we booked a hotel room downtown slc, went to dinner, and walked around temple square. most of all we enjoyed a quiet kid free (well almost, griffin was with us cause he goes where i go) night and just enjoyed being together. it was probably the last relaxing night we'll be having together for awhile. the last 9 years have been full of ups and downs but mostly ups. i am so grateful to have jason as my husband and best friend. i'm so grateful for the relationship he has with our girls and pray that it always stays strong. he will be a great example to griffin as to what a husband and father should be. i'm also so grateful for the relationship he has with the lord and the respect he has for his priesthood. it is a huge blessing in our house. pretty much i'm the luckiest girl in the world!

olivia had a mini dance recital. she looked adorable which was good cause she didn't dance very much. she really didn't like having people watch her.

it wouldn't be december without going to cabela's to see santa himself. i'm telling you if you haven't done this you are missing out. as you can see hes the real deal and they give you the picture for free. not to mention they give fudge samples out while you wait in line!

we spent christmas in bountiful with my parents, rob's family, his friend ali, and rosie. we ate way too much food. played sweet valley high. which is the world's best game!! and took care of my cute mom. she thought it would be a good idea to go ice skating and fell and broke her wrist. maybe not the best idea shes ever had!

of course we acted out the nativity story on christmas eve and ali and robert were the wise men. i don't know where they found their outfits but they were awesome!

santa came and the girls were on the nice list so they were spoiled rotten.

mya turned 2 on the 28th. we were lucky enough to have 2 of our cute nieces, who were visiting from cali, come sleepover with us. the girls spent the day playing dress up and modeling. we had cake and ice cream that night with jason's family and more the next night in bountiful with my family.

so thats our december in a nutshell. now we're more than half way through january and little griffin will be here in about 6 weeks. somedays it feels like he will never come and others i feel very overwhelmed that i'm about to have 3 kids! mostly i'm just ready to have my body somewhat back to myself. i'm not exactly the biggest girl so i'm really running out of room for both of us. i've tried to explain to him if he wanted to come a bit early he would be more comfortable. a girl can wish right! as good as i am about blogging he will probably be here by the next time i get around to an update. wish me luck!

we spent thanksgiving with jason's parents this year. we ate way too much. then we ate some more. its was quiet and relaxing and we had a great time. the girls wanted to play outside so daddy and papa took them out to run around. when i went to check on them this is what i found.



yes, they somehow talked fat, tired mommy into getting in the leaves too. it was gross.
